Stencilled Style

THE funky black-and-white patterned Perspex appliance wall literally jumps out at you as you step into this stylish space. Not only is the feature cabinetry aesthetically exciting, it’s groundbreaking in terms of application, as it’s the first time stencilling has been used on the back of Perspex to form a complete pattern.

As part of a new extension, this kitchen is full of firsts. Architect Tom Bulic and the owners dreamed up a unique design that utilised an eclectic mix of materials.

The Better Bathrooms & Kitchens team was called in to propel these plans into action. From laminates, CaesarStone, stainless-steel and glass to the timber used for the floorboards and overhead beams, this kitchen has dabbled in a unique combination of materials.

With such loud finishes it was crucial the rest of the design remain quite simple so as not to detract from the bold materials. All appliances have been cleanly incorporated into the design while the kitchen sink has been integrated and welded into the stainless-steel benchtop for a streamlined effect.

The island features an elevated top crafted from gorgeous Mosaici Marrone CaesarStone to provide additional servery and dining space. The raised bench is supported by a unique square tubing leg structure, which provides another visual point of interest for visitors to the space.

Displaying fine craftsmanship, Better Bathrooms & Kitchens has successfully executed the owners’ vision and created a vibrant kitchen that puts zest back into cooking!
