A bathroom designed with comfort and style in mind.
This bathroom and powder room design proves that feature walls are no longer solely for living and entertaining areas. The Bronzo tiles used in the design of the powder room have been laid to create a bricked look, warming up the room and tying in with the tones of the cabinetry and flooring.
Once small, out-dated and mostly beige, the bathroom is now larger and more inviting. Glass tiles are featured in the shower, creating an indulgent feel and, because it’s a simple walk-in shower, there’s little chance of tripping and slipping on entry and exit.
Designer Garrett Hebden understands that little luxuries are important. With the implementation of underfloor heating, cold mornings are made a little easier. Combine this with the heated towel rail and no one in this household can complain of bathroom chills next winter.
Initially lacking storage space, Garrett set out to design a wet zone with plenty of room for bathroom accessories to be kept out of sight. The mirrors along the vanity wall double as cabinets, while drawers and cupboards below the basin provide an extra sanctuary for bathroom gear.
Bearing in mind that this renovation was undertaken in an apartment, the plumbing was a challenge for both the designer and the builders. But, with perseverance and clever thinking, all obstacles were overcome.
Better Bathrooms & Kitchens has successfully created a larger space while allowing it to become bright and warm. It’s safe to say that Better Bathrooms & Kitchens has surpassed all expectations, creating a bathroom that is a joy to walk into.
